Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of $100.00 is required within one week of making your reservation. An additional deposit of $100 per pet is required if bringing pets. These will be immediately refunded to you after housekeeping determines there are no damages and no missing items. In case of any damages, the expense to repair or replace, will be deducted from your security deposit, and the difference, if any, will be refunded. We operate on a leave it like you found it philosophy.
Payment
Personal checks are accepted. However, there is a $30.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to: Ken Milota. Your payment can also be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover online via Pay Pal, to: kmilota@hockingescape.com however, a 3% fee will be charged . Your vacation payment is due in full two weeks prior to your check in date.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation giving more than 30 days notice, the deposit and payment will be fully refunded. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, payment will be refunded but the $100 security deposit is nonrefundable. There are no refunds for early departure.
Check In/Out
Check in is at 3PM and check out is at 10AM. These times are flexible if there are not other guests leaving/arriving the same day.
Pets/Trash/Cleanup Policy
If bringing pets, pet waste/droppings should be bagged and properly disposed of. All trash should be bagged and placed in cans outside before check out. No trash should be left in the house, on the deck, in the yard or by the river. Any chairs, coolers, games etc. should be put back where you found them. Once again, leave it like you found it. Failure to comply with these policies may result in forfeiture of part or all of security deposit.
